Hi, my name is Sammy and I'm raising 5 adopted kids in western Ghana.
I have a small farm with cashew, cocoa, platans and peppers. I weed it with a cutlass without any kind of support, and the pests are destroying my crops.
I live in a poverty prone area, and I take care of about 10 people in a school because they have lost their parents.
I need support to help increase the output of the farm. I want to grow the crops in a large quantity and sell more fruits in order to become more self-sufficient.
The whole world is waking up to colonialism as they look to Palestine, and we say Free Palestine, too. Please also see the other genocides that are happening in Africa and the lingering effects of colonialism here in Ghana. Do what you can to support us.
Of course, I think to make the journey to Europe to find a better way of life, but it wouldn't be better. My life and home is here. I want to stay and make it better here.
It's difficult for someone like me to survive in this country. Can you donate a little bit to my chosen family and help us grow this farm?
Here are some photos of my fruit trees and the kids.
Have a great day!
