Every Child Deserves a Chance to Learn

Imagine being a child who wants to go to school, wants to learn, and dreams of becoming something great—but your family cannot afford the basic materials you need.

For many vulnerable children in Uganda, this is not imagination. It is their everyday reality.

At NAGDA Foundation, we work with vulnerable children and families in low-income communities, trying to make sure that financial hardship does not completely stand between a child and their education.

We Have Seen the Need Firsthand

In September 2026, we organized a scholastic materials support activity in Nansana, Wakiso District. We planned to support 60 children.

But as children and families came forward asking for help, we realized the need was much greater than the resources available to us.

We managed to reach 73 children, including additional children who had not been part of the original list. We gave what we could with the resources we had.

But there were still children we could not help.

That was one of the hardest parts of the experience.

We had children who needed support, but our resources had reached their limit.

We do not want to turn children away again.

Now We Are Asking for Your Help

We are raising $8,000 to support 100 vulnerable children for one school term.

Your donation will help provide essential scholastic materials and other school-related support to children whose families are struggling to meet these costs.

For a child, a book, pencil, ruler, school requirement, or other basic learning material may seem small.

But when a family has nothing to spare, that small item can make a very big difference.

The funds raised will be used to provide educational support to 100 vulnerable children for one school term, including scholastic materials and essential school requirements. We will also use part of the funds for programme outreach, identification of vulnerable children, distribution, and follow-up.

We will keep records of the children reached and document the support provided so that our work remains accountable to those who believe in this cause.
