The story
Why this fundraiser matters
In 2021, our family experienced a tragedy that changed our lives forever. We lost our mother suddenly, and with her passing, we lost not only a loving mother but also the person who held our family together.
Our mother had worked hard to build a life and provide for her children. She left behind assets and belongings that could have helped us remain stable and build a future. Sadly, after her death, those assets were taken from us by members of her family without our consent. We were left with little to nothing.
Since then, my siblings and I have had to face life without our mother and without the foundation she had worked so hard to create for us. We have struggled to support ourselves, continue moving forward, and create opportunities that could give our family a better future.
Rather than allowing our circumstances to define us, we want to rebuild.
Our Goal
We are raising funds to start a family-owned business that can provide a sustainable source of income for me and my siblings.
Our dream is not simply to receive financial assistance. We want to use this opportunity to build something that can continue supporting our family for years to come. A successful family business would allow us to create jobs for ourselves, become financially independent, and eventually help other people in our community who are facing difficult circumstances.
The funds raised will go toward establishing the business, including initial inventory or equipment, registration and operating costs, marketing, transportation, and other essential startup expenses.
