Why this fundraiser matters
I graduated from university 9 years ago after which I gained the necessary experience. Years later I decided to try farming, what started as an opportunity to make extra income became a passion of mine. I then decided to start a small business with the hope of growing overtime.
I have invested my own time, money and effort into learning how to manage the birds, provide proper care, manage feeding and navigate the challenges that come with poultry farming. Now I’d like to take the next step.
The money will go to buying a small piece of land and constructing of sustainable poultry houses. With the right space and structures I will be able to increase production beyond my current capacity and capacity of 200 at a time and build a more sustainable source of income. My long term goal is to move my business to a farm and grow it into a more reliable poultry business that can serve my community, create opportunities for employment and continue growing overtime.
