Why this fundraiser matters
Help Me Rebuild My Business and Start Again.
My name is Chizoba Nnorom, and I am a small business owner in Benin City, Nigeria. I run a small-scale nylon manufacturing business where we produce nylon bags and supply them to wholesalers, retailers and other customers.
I started this business with the hope of building a stable source of income and creating opportunities for other people through the work it provides. Over time, I invested heavily in the business, purchased production equipment and built a customer base through hard work and consistency.
Unfortunately, things became financially difficult. In trying to keep the business running and meet its financial obligations, I had to rely on investments and borrowed funds. The business eventually became overwhelmed by financial pressure, and today I am struggling with both outstanding debts and inadequate working capital to keep production running at the level it needs to.
I have not given up on the business because I know what it is capable of when there is enough working capital. We already have the equipment, experience workers and customers. What I need now is the financial support to stabilize the business, increase production and get back on my feet.
My Goal: ₦5,000,000
I am appealing for ₦5,000,000 (Five Million Naira) in support.
This money will not be used for luxury or personal spending. It will be invested into rebuilding the business and reducing the financial burden that has made it difficult for me to move forward.
How the ₦5,000,000 Will Be Used
₦2,000,000 — Raw Materials and Production Stock
This will be used to purchase white and black nylon materials in sufficient quantities so that production can continue consistently. Having adequate stock will allow me to meet customer orders and generate regular sales instead of constantly stopping production because there is no money to buy materials.
₦1,000,000 — Working Capital
This will provide the day-to-day cash flow needed to keep production running, purchase additional materials after sales, pay essential production expenses and prevent the business from falling back into the same cycle of financial shortages.
₦1,000,000 — Debt Repayment
A portion of the funds will be used to reduce the outstanding financial obligations accumulated while trying to keep the business operating. Reducing this burden will give me the breathing space I need to concentrate on rebuilding the business.
₦500,000 — Shop, Electricity and Operating Expenses
This will help with securing and setting up a suitable business premises, electricity and other immediate expenses required to operate the business effectively.
₦500,000 — Equipment Maintenance and Production Support
This will cover necessary machine maintenance, repairs and other production-related needs so that the equipment can operate reliably and production can be improved.
Total: ₦5,000,000
I am not asking for help because I want to abandon what I have built. I am asking for a second chance to rebuild it.
I have the experience, the equipment, the knowledge of the business and customers who are willing to buy. What I currently lack is enough capital to put everything back into a stable cycle.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring me closer to restarting the business properly, reducing my debts and creating a more secure future.
If you are unable to contribute financially, sharing this campaign with others would also mean so much to me.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who takes the time to read my story, support my campaign, share it or pray for me.
Thank you for giving me a chance to rebuild what I worked so hard to create.
