Why this fundraiser matters
Over a year ago, I lost my job. At the time, we believed it would only be a temporary setback and that we would find our way through it. We did everything we could to keep our family going.
A few months later, when I was just two months pregnant with our second child, my husband lost his job as well. Suddenly, our family was left without a steady income.
We relied on our savings for sometime but with the pregnancy and giving birth, our savings are now gone, and our situation has become much more difficult.
Today, we are parents to a six-month-old baby and a three-year-old child. Our children are our greatest responsibility, and all we want is to be able to provide them with the basics they need: food, a safe place to live, clothing, healthcare, and the everyday necessities of growing children.
We are both continuing to look for work and opportunities to earn an income. We are also unfortunately drowning in debts.
We are humbly asking for your support as we work toward getting our family stable again. Your contribution will help us meet our immediate needs and give us some breathing room while we continue searching for employment and a sustainable way forward.
