Why this fundraiser matters

ModuMed Africa is a project to build solar-powered modular medical centers in rural areas of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where access to medical care is severely limited. The existing healthcare infrastructure is extremely weak; many areas lack electricity, clean water, and access to emergency care. Our centers are designed to provide emergency care, early detection of Ebola fever, and stabilization of patients' conditions. We have a manufacturing partner in China, an approved budget, and a team that has already worked on the ground. We are committed to transparency and publish all contracts and receipts related to the project.
