Why this fundraiser matters
Across Mauritania, people living with diabetes and other chronic diseases can face serious barriers to accessing essential healthcare, particularly vulnerable people with limited financial resources and those who have difficulty reaching appropriate medical services.
Association Bourdid – Diabetes and Chronic Diseases (ABDMC) is a Mauritanian non-profit organization working since 2004 to improve access to healthcare, raise awareness about diabetes and chronic diseases, and support vulnerable communities.
Through this campaign, we aim to strengthen access to essential health support for vulnerable people living with diabetes and chronic diseases in Mauritania. The funds raised will help support medical consultations, essential health-related supplies, community outreach, awareness activities, and assistance for people facing barriers to care.
Our goal is to provide practical support where it is most needed and to strengthen community-based action against diabetes and chronic diseases.
Every contribution will help ABDMC continue reaching vulnerable people and improving access to essential healthcare.
